Macron and Erdoğan Held a Phone Consultation
French President Emmanuel Macron held a phone consultation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Saturday.
During the phone call with the Turkish President, the French President discussed the importance of ensuring that the ceasefire in Iran also includes Lebanon. He added that any ceasefire between Iran and the United States should include the issues of Lebanon and the Strait of Hormuz.
Separately, the Turkish Presidential Communications Directorate also announced a phone call between the presidents of Turkey and France, focusing on bilateral relations, the Syrian issue, and the Strait of Hormuz.
