Erdoğan: Turkey’s Decisive Role in Regional Balance
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in a speech at the Istanbul Congress Center, emphasized that without Turkey’s participation, it is impossible to establish balance in Syria, Gaza, the Persian Gulf, and also in the Russia–Ukraine war.
Stating that Turkey is a respected country in the region and the world, Erdoğan added: “Our goal is to create an environment where generations are not destroyed, mothers do not shed tears, and peace, security, tranquility, and prosperity prevail throughout the region.”
Erdoğan noted: “Today, whenever peace, tranquility, and stability are mentioned, the first country that comes to mind is Turkey. Likewise, when compassion, mercy, and justice are spoken of, this noble nation comes to the forefront. We are on the threshold of a historic stage to realize the vision of the ‘Century of Turkey,’ which is founded on peace, brotherhood, development, and justice.”
The President of Turkey also addressed the fight against terrorism, saying: “With a common will, God willing, we will first present a Turkey free of terrorism, and then a region free of terrorism, as the most enduring legacy to the children of this land.”
