Turkey’s Electronic Warfare Capability Enhanced
Defense company ASELSAN announced that the land-based “Electronic Support” and “Electronic Attack” system KORAL has been delivered to the Turkish Armed Forces with enhanced capabilities following the completion of a modernization project.
According to the company’s statement, key components of KORAL have been replaced with new-generation subsystems, increasing its operational capability in the field of electronic warfare.
With high output power, a phased-array antenna, and the ability to jam multiple targets simultaneously, KORAL provides strategic superiority on the “invisible front.” The system is employed in SEAD missions and as part of the multi-layered air defense system “Çelikkubbe.”
ASELSAN stated that the upgraded KORAL, with its adaptable structure and wide frequency range, is ready to counter emerging threats and the warfare scenarios of the future.
