Border Meeting of Iranian and Turkish Customs Directors Held
The Directors General of Iran’s Bazargan Customs and Turkey’s Gürbulak Customs met in a joint session to hold talks. The main focus of this meeting was to review customs-related issues and to identify solutions for facilitating trade exchanges between the two countries.
In this session, which was also attended by several officials from the Bazargan Customs Office, both sides raised the existing problems on either side of the border and exchanged views on practical solutions to remove obstacles and streamline the trade process.
During the visit, the Iranian delegation also toured the new facilities and parking areas of Gürbulak Customs. Furthermore, agreements were reached on necessary coordination to ease the entry and exit of trucks, remove trade barriers, and improve the level of services provided to economic actors and traders.
