Development of relations between Iran and the Kurdistan region
Yesterday’s visit of the President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq to Iran shows the determination of both sides to develop relations and increase their level. Although Iran has expressed concern about the presence of Israeli agents in Iraqi Kurdistan and has repeatedly mentioned this issue to Iraqi Kurdistan authorities. However, Barzani’s visit to Iran shows the deepening of relations between the two sides, especially the resolution of security challenges and ultimately the development of economic and political relations. Erbil, Iraq has always been one of the important areas for America and Israel to influence the developments and campaigns related to Iraq and Iran from this area. With the increase of relations between Iran and Iraqi Kurdistan, without a doubt, this level of interaction will move towards convergence and reduce the role of foreigners.
