Erdogan at the Signing Ceremony of the Sharm El-Sheikh Agreement
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan attended the signing ceremony of the Sharm El-Sheikh Agreement, held in this Egyptian city ahead of the Peace Summit.
At the ceremony, Erdogan, together with U.S. President Donald Trump, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, and Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, signed the agreement.
Before the ceremony began, Trump welcomed Erdogan at the International Exhibition Center. The two leaders spoke briefly and then posed for the cameras. Afterwards, the participating heads of state joined a group photo session.
The ceremony opened with an address by Trump, after which the four leaders signed the agreement. Following the signing and a commemorative photo, participants proceeded to the hall where the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit was to be held.
