Erdoğan: Netanyahu Will Face a Fate Similar to Hitler
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan described Israel’s attack on the Hamas delegation in Qatar as “a blatant violation of the international order and international law.”
Returning to his country after attending the extraordinary joint summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab League in Doha, Erdoğan told reporters: “The fact that the negotiating team was targeted by such a treacherous attack is a clear violation of the international order and international law.”
Erdoğan went on to highlight the stance of Western countries toward Palestine, stressing: “The recognition of the State of Palestine by Western countries will put Israel under even greater pressure. We will once again raise this issue within the framework of the United Nations.”
He also expressed hope that the humanitarian front would be strengthened during the upcoming session of the UN General Assembly.
In another part of his remarks, the Turkish president sharply criticized the policies of the Israeli prime minister, stating: “Netanyahu is ideologically almost akin to Hitler. Just as Hitler failed to see his inevitable defeat, Netanyahu will also face a similar fate.”
He added: “The leaders of Israel are nothing more than a criminal network that has turned their extremist views into a fascist ideology.”
Concluding his remarks, Erdoğan emphasized the importance of unity among Muslim countries: “It is extremely important for Muslim nations to develop mechanisms for security, cooperation, information sharing, and crisis management among themselves.”
