Turkey: Israel’s influence in the region is a security threat
The Turkish National Intelligence Academy stated in a report that the expansionist policy of the Zionist regime weakens regional and global stability, and that strengthening the resilience of regional countries is essential to limit its consequences.
The Turkish National Intelligence Academy, in a report titled “The Anatomy of Israel’s Expansionism,” examined the historical, ideological, political, and military roots of the regime’s policies and their consequences for regional and global security.
According to the findings of the report, the Zionist regime’s actions in the Gaza Strip, the continuation of the occupation of the West Bank, and the regime’s policies in Lebanon and Syria have spread instability in the region, and their effects have gone beyond the borders of the Middle East.
Talha Kose, head of the Turkish National Intelligence Academy, emphasized in the introduction to the report that the expansion of the regime’s influence from Syria and the Eastern Mediterranean to the Red Sea and the Horn of Africa has affected regional security and made the realization of a two-state solution to the Palestinian issue more difficult.
The report also, referring to US support for the Zionist regime, assessed the consequences of the regime’s policies for the security of Turkey and neighboring countries. The authors of the report believe that strengthening the capacity of state institutions, protecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of countries, and reducing security gaps are among the main components of increasing the region’s resilience against foreign interventions.
The Turkish National Intelligence Academy further emphasized the importance of strengthening social ties among Turkish, Kurdish, and Arab communities and considered this cooperation a factor in reducing foreign actors’ exploitation of ethnic and social divisions.
In the conclusion of the report, increasing the capabilities of regional countries and expanding coordination among them was presented as a solution for confronting the destabilizing consequences of the Zionist regime’s policies.
