Fidan Holds Phone Calls with International Officials
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a series of phone conversations with regional and international high-level officials to discuss the latest developments in Gaza and the war in Ukraine.
Talks with Egyptian and Jordanian Foreign Ministers on Gaza
Fidan spoke by phone with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi. The discussions focused on the situation in the Gaza Strip and diplomatic efforts to achieve a ceasefire.
Consultation with NATO Secretary-General on Ukraine War and Upcoming Summit
Additionally, Fidan exchanged views with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg. The two sides evaluated steps to end the Russia-Ukraine war. Preparations for the upcoming NATO summit, scheduled for June 24-25 in The Hague, were also discussed.
These talks reflect Turkey’s diplomatic efforts to play a role in regional and global crises.
