Erdogan: Israel Disregards Humanity by Killing Civilians
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, referring to the killing of Lebanese civilians by Israel on the day of the Iran war ceasefire, stated on Friday that Israel has disregarded all human values with these actions and recognizes no rule or principle.
According to IRNA (Islamic Republic News Agency), Erdogan said at a press conference: “On the day the ceasefire was declared, Israel brutally killed 254 people in Lebanon.”
He continued: “This genocide network, blinded by blood and hatred, continues to massacre children, women, and innocent civilians, disregarding all human values and recognizing no rule or principle.”
Erdogan further stated: “Isn’t the implementation of the death penalty solely for Palestinian prisoners a form of apartheid in practice? Isn’t this the use of law as a tool for racist authoritarianism?”
The Russian President added: “Is there fundamentally a real difference between the monstrous policies of Hitler against Jews and the decision made by the Israeli parliament with such a triumphalist sentiment? Aren’t all these actions simply another manifestation of denial, destruction, oppression, and political pressure against the Palestinian people?”
Erdogan emphasized: “Undoubtedly, these actions are an example of discrimination and racism. This would mean implementing a military regime even worse than the apartheid regime that was abolished in South Africa in 1994.”
