Istanbul to Host the World Halal Summit
This year, Istanbul will host the 11th World Halal Summit—an international event that, with the participation of dozens of countries and thousands of visitors, aims to expand trade and enhance the standards of the 12-trillion-dollar halal market.
The summit, supported by the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye and organized in cooperation with the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC), the Ministry of Trade, and the Halal Accreditation Agency, will take place from 26 to 29 November at the Istanbul Expo Center.
According to the World Halal Summit Council, more than 50 countries, 50,000 visitors, and representatives from 100 countries are expected to attend the event.
Throughout the summit, experts, academics, entrepreneurs, and private sector representatives will present solutions for the development of halal standards, the strengthening of global trade, and the expansion of the international halal market.
The event will feature a wide range of programs, including:

. B2B meetings
. Global Sellers Forum
. Ministerial Meeting with representatives from 60 countries
. Specialized exhibitions in tourism, healthcare, Islamic fashion, and the food industry
Organizers emphasized that by bringing together the key stakeholders of global trade, the World Halal Summit will not only strengthen international cooperation but also play a significant role in Türkiye’s economy.
