Telephone Conversation Between President Erdoğan and the Saudi Crown Prince
President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, held a phone call with Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, during which they discussed bilateral relations as well as regional and global developments.
According to a statement from the Directorate of Communications of the Presidency of Türkiye, the conversation emphasized strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the coming period. Erdoğan noted that Türkiye is closely following developments in Somalia and Yemen, stressing that preserving the territorial integrity of these countries is vital for regional stability.
He further stated that Türkiye is ready to contribute to efforts aimed at bringing together the parties involved in the conflict in Yemen.
In another part of his remarks, President Erdoğan pointed out that with the onset of winter, the humanitarian situation in Gaza has worsened, and underlined that Türkiye will continue its efforts to achieve a lasting ceasefire and to support the reconstruction of Gaza.
