Turkey condemned India’s attack on Pakistan
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned India’s attack on Pakistan and called on both sides to exercise restraint.
The statement read: “India’s attack on Pakistan has created the risk of a full-scale war; we condemn provocative actions and attacks targeting civilians.”
The statement further emphasized: “We are following the developments between Pakistan and India with concern and urge both sides to exercise restraint and refrain from unilateral actions.”
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs once again called on Pakistan to continue the investigation into the April 22 terrorist attack.
The statement stressed: “We hope that necessary measures to reduce tensions in the region will be taken as soon as possible, and that necessary mechanisms, including counterterrorism efforts, will be established to prevent similar incidents from recurring.”

It is worth mentioning that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone call yesterday with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar to discuss the latest developments between Pakistan and India.
During this call, the latest developments between Pakistan and India were discussed and reviewed.
Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistani Army, stated that Pakistan would respond to India’s attacks at a time and place of its own choosing.
