Turkey’s Humanitarian Aid Program during Ramadan
The Foundation for Human Rights and Freedoms and Humanitarian Relief (IHH) has prepared extensive programs for the month of Ramadan with the slogan “Ramadan; An Invitation to Brotherhood,” announcing that it will provide humanitarian aid to approximately three million people in 66 countries worldwide.
According to the foundation’s statement, the aid will be distributed to those in need in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and South America, in addition to Turkey. These activities include distributing food packages, organizing iftar dinners, providing Eid clothing, as well as collecting and distributing zakat and fitr alms.
Furthermore, the foundation also has programs within Turkey and plans to provide food packages and shopping cards to 45 thousand families in all 81 provinces of the country.
The foundation’s relief programs will continue with increased intensity, especially in countries experiencing war, crisis, and economic difficulties such as Palestine, Syria, Sudan, and Lebanon.
