Entry of 16 Turkish Trucks Carrying Medicine and Medical Equipment via Bazargan Border
The Director-General of the West Azerbaijan Red Crescent announced: In a humanitarian act aimed at strengthening the country’s medical capacity, 16 trucks carrying medicine, medical supplies, and intravenous (IV) fluids have entered Iran from the Turkish government.
Hamid Mahboubi stated in this regard: This shipment has been transferred into the country through the Bazargan border crossing voluntarily and in line with proving the friendship between the Turkish and Iranian nations during critical circumstances.
He added: The Turkish government voluntarily announced its readiness to send these aids, and after necessary coordination with Mohammad Hassan Habibollahzadeh, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Ankara, and Pirhossein Kolivand, the head of Iran’s Red Crescent Society, the process of preparing and transferring these items was carried out.
The Director-General of the West Azerbaijan Red Crescent clarified: This shipment has been collected with the participation of medical centers from various provinces and cities across Turkey, and includes a significant volume of IV fluids, various medicines, consumable medical equipment, and specialized devices.
According to Mahboubi, among the sent items are vital equipment such as radiology devices, ultrasound machines, ventilators, electrocardiogram (ECG) machines, and hospital patient monitors.
