The German government has denied claims regarding the prevention of the sale of Eurofighter jets to Turkey and emphasized that no decision has been made in this regard.
The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of Germany issued a statement rejecting claims about the prevention of the sale of Eurofighter jets to Turkey.
Tim-Niklas Wenzel, the spokesperson for this ministry, stated that the current interim government has not made any decision regarding the approval of the sale of these jets.
He added that important decisions regarding the export of weapons and military equipment will be entrusted to the new government, which will commence its work next month. The current interim government will not make such decisions in advance.
Wenzel also emphasized that the examination of these matters has been entrusted to the future government, and the interim government will not intervene in this regard.
