Erdoğan’s Visit to Qatar for the Extraordinary Summit
President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan departed from Atatürk Airport at 11:00 a.m. today for Qatar to attend the Extraordinary Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League.
At the airport, he was seen off by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Governor of Istanbul Davut Gül, Istanbul Provincial Chairman of the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) Abdullah Özdemir, and a number of other senior officials.
Accompanying President Erdoğan on this trip are First Lady Emine Erdoğan, Head of the National Intelligence Organization İbrahim Kalın, Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç, Presidential Communications Director Burhanettin Duran, and Deputy Chairman of the Justice and Development Party Prof. Dr. Halit Yerebakan.
