Israel’s prevention of humanitarian aid from entering Gaza is against international law
Zeki Ak-Turk, the media advisor of the Turkish Ministry of National Defense, once again referred to the continuation of Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip and their severe consequences for the humanitarian situation in the region during the weekly press conference in Isparta.
He emphasized that preventing humanitarian aid from entering this region, especially in the current sensitive conditions, will exacerbate the humanitarian crisis.
He also noted that the international community must reconsider its approach, as past policies have not been effective. According to him, increasing pressure on Israel is a necessary measure to ensure its adherence to human principles and values.
The advisor to the Turkish Ministry of National Defense emphasized the necessity of establishing an immediate ceasefire and forming an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, stating that these measures are vital for ensuring regional stability and addressing humanitarian needs.
