Israel must abandon occupation and aggressive approach
Rear Admiral Zeki Akturk, Media and Public Relations Advisor of the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey, announced at a press conference that the first technical negotiation between Turkey and Israel, aimed at establishing a mechanism for non-conflict and preventing undesirable incidents in Syria, was held yesterday in Azerbaijan.
Akturk emphasized in this meeting the necessity of ending Israel’s occupation and aggressive approach to ensure security in the region, and called on the international community to prevent this violation of the law.
He stated that Israel must immediately cease its provocative attacks aimed at undermining Syria’s territorial integrity and disrupting its security and stability.

Akturk also referred to the critical situation in the region and noted that the continuation of building illegal Jewish settlements in the West Bank and the lack of cessation of Israeli attacks on neighboring countries harm the stability and peace of the region.
