Record-Breaking Number of Foreign Tourists in Antalya

According to data from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Türkiye, between January 1 and August 31 of this year, the city of Antalya hosted 11,702,733 foreign tourists.

In August alone, the city welcomed 2,711,395 visitors, an increase of 37,953 people compared to the same period last year.

During this period, Russia sent the highest number of tourists to Antalya, followed by Germany in second place and the United Kingdom in third. After that came Poland, Romania, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia as the city’s main tourism markets.

In addition, in August, the number of tourists arriving from Ukraine increased by 29%, from Russia by 6%, and from Germany by 5% compared to the same month last year.
