Turkey Welcomes the Ceasefire Between Iran and the United States
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, expressing appreciation for the efforts made to achieve this ceasefire, praised Pakistan’s role in the process and expressed hope that the Middle East region would soon achieve peace, tranquility, and stability.
He stated: “Turkey will continue to support peace in the region and the world.”
In this context, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan also expressed his pleasure over the ceasefire in a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, and emphasized the continuation of efforts to achieve a lasting peace.
