The opening of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2025, focused on global challenges
The fourth Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF2025), under the patronage of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and hosted by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, has commenced in the city of Antalya.
This forum, organized in collaboration with Anadolu Agency at the Nest Congress Center located in the Belek tourism region, will host significant discussions on global issues this year under the slogan Adherence to diplomacy in a fragmented world.
The opening speech of this event will be delivered by Erdoğan, and the first panels have been held under the titles Increasing Nuclear Tensions: A Renewed Threat and Seeking Partnerships in a Multipolar Era.
Over the course of this three-day forum, more than 50 sessions will be held in various formats, during which topics such as climate change, counterterrorism, humanitarian aid, digitization, food security, and artificial intelligence will be discussed, alongside issues pertaining to the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, Africa, and Latin America.
More than 20 heads of state and government, over 50 foreign ministers, a total of more than 70 ministers, as well as nearly 60 senior representatives of international organizations, along with over 4,000 guests including students, will attend this event.
The forum’s activities are being broadcast live through its official website and social media accounts, and many of its sessions are also being aired live on the TRT network.
Hakan Fidan is also scheduled to participate on the sidelines of this forum in the meeting of the Gaza Contact Group of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation-Arab League, the trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Turkey-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Croatia, and the high-level security mechanism meeting between Turkey and Iraq.
