Turkey Strongly Condemns Israel’s Attacks on Syrian Territory
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey issued an official statement this Tuesday evening, declaring that Ankara strongly condemns Israel’s attacks in Syria, which violate the country’s territorial integrity, unity, and sovereignty, and have expanded in scope.
The statement read: “We strongly condemn Israel’s military attacks that violate Syria’s territorial integrity, unity, and sovereignty, and have increasingly escalated. These attacks, which directly target efforts to establish stability and security in Syria and the region, must be halted immediately. Support for the Syrian government in its pursuit of peace and tranquility within the country must continue.”
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs also emphasized that Ankara will continue to support the vision of a “terror-free, stable Syria with full territorial integrity,” in line with the legitimate expectations of the Syrian people.
