Turkey to Examine Libya Plane’s Black Box in a Neutral Country
Turkey’s Minister of Transport, Ali Yerlikaya, announced that following preliminary assessments, the black box of the crashed Libyan aircraft will be examined in a neutral country.
Turkey has agreed to analyze the black box of the Falcon 50 aircraft, which was carrying Mohammed al-Haddad, Chief of Staff of the Government of National Unity of Libya.
According to Turkey’s Interior Minister, the bodies of the victims have been transferred to the forensic medicine institution for official procedures. Libya has also dispatched a 29-member team to participate in the investigation process. The aircraft’s black box was discovered early this morning, and the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Reports indicate that eight people, including Mohammed al-Haddad, Chief of Staff of the Libyan Army, were on board the aircraft. The crew members were French nationals, and it has been announced that all passengers lost their lives in the crash.
