Erdoğan Emphasizes Solidarity of Turks Abroad
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of Turkey, underscored Ankara’s firm support for Turks residing in Europe, declaring: “We will not allow injustice against the Turks of Europe who accompany us on the path toward the Century of Turkey. The incompetence of those who attempt to harass them will certainly not go unanswered.”
Erdoğan made these remarks at the Nation Exhibition Hall within the Presidential Complex in Beştepe, during a meeting with participants of the empowerment and training workshop organized by the Union of International Democrats (UID).
Referring to global circumstances, he added:
“In a period when waves of crisis and instability are rising from Europe to Asia, we need solidarity more than ever.”
The Turkish President also highlighted the role and position of the Turkish community abroad, stating:
“Despite all obstacles, migrant Turkish communities have managed to remain resilient and have become a force that is articulate, influential, and determined across various fields.”
Erdoğan further noted:
“As a result of racist terrorist acts, our promising youth, children, and hardworking citizens have fallen victim, and the Turkish community has faced humiliation, harm, and profound suffering.”
