Turkish Ministry of National Defense: Israel Has Turned Terrorism into Its Official State Policy
The Turkish Ministry of National Defense, in response to Israel’s recent attack on the Hamas negotiating team in Qatar, stated that this action demonstrates that Israel “has turned terrorism into its official state policy.”
Admiral Zeki Aktürk, Press and Public Relations Advisor of the Ministry, said at the ministry’s weekly press briefing: “The attack on the Hamas negotiating team in Qatar has proven that Israel profits from conflict, opposes peace, and has turned terrorism into a state policy.”
Emphasizing Ankara’s full support for Doha, Aktürk added: “In the face of this attack, which constitutes a clear violation of Qatar’s sovereignty, we will stand by this country with all our capabilities.”
Aktürk warned: “We remind the international community that if Israel is not stopped through decisive measures, it will drag the region into disaster with reckless attacks like the one that took place in Qatar.”
He also described reports and claims that Israel had targeted assets of the Turkish Armed Forces in Syria as “baseless,” stressing: “There is no negative situation or specific problem regarding our forces, personnel, or equipment stationed in Syria.”
