Erdoğan Celebrates Museum Day with the Theme “The Future of Museums in Rapidly Changing Societies”
The President of Turkey, in a message marking Museum Day—which this year is being celebrated under the theme “The Future of Museums in Rapidly Changing Societies”—commended the occasion.
In his social media post, Erdoğan wrote:
“This year, Museum Day is being celebrated with the theme ‘The Future of Museums in Rapidly Changing Societies.’ I congratulate everyone on this meaningful day and invite all our citizens, especially our youth and children, whom we have granted free admission to museums, to explore our rich cultural treasures by visiting our museums.”
The Turkish President emphasized the importance of museums in preserving and promoting cultural heritage, noting that museums play a crucial role in educating and raising awareness among future generations.
