Erdogan Emphasizes Turkey’s Domestic Stability and Achievements
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed domestic and international issues during a ceremony held by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB). In his speech, he particularly highlighted the fundamental principles of Turkey’s governance, including national unity, a unified political structure, and national sovereignty.
Pointing to Turkey’s economic progress, Erdogan cited the growth in exports from 36billionto36billionto265 billion annually as one of his government’s successes. He also noted the increase in tourist numbers from 13 million to 62 million in recent years.
In another part of his speech, the Turkish president mentioned the country’s national car project, TOGG. Expressing pride in the production of TOGG vehicles—including the recently unveiled sedan model—Erdogan announced that these cars would be launched in global markets starting next year.

The reconstruction of earthquake-affected regions was another key topic in Erdogan’s address. He stated that 453,000 housing units would be completed and delivered to survivors in the quake zones by the end of this year.
On the international front, positive reactions to Turkey’s recent diplomatic efforts were noted. Officials from countries such as Pakistan, Italy, and Ukraine praised Turkey’s role in resolving regional crises. Syria’s economy minister also described the improvement in relations with Turkey as a positive step.
Concluding his speech, Erdogan reaffirmed Turkey’s firm stance against terrorist groups, declaring, “No threat will weaken this nation’s resolve.” He also commended Turkey’s advancements in military technology, particularly in the production of advanced unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
