Erdoğan’s Condolence Message Following the Martyrdom of Police Officers in Yalova
Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in a message published on the national Turkish platform NSosyal, expressed his condolences over the martyrdom of police officers during an operation against the terrorist organization ISIS in Yalova Province.
In his message, he prayed for mercy upon the deceased and wished a swift recovery for the wounded, writing:
“For our heroic police officers who were martyred this morning in Yalova during the operation against the terrorist organization ISIS, I ask Almighty God for mercy, and I extend my condolences to their families, our police force, and our beloved nation. I also wish a speedy recovery for the injured officers.”
Erdoğan further emphasized:
“Our struggle against the bloodthirsty criminals who threaten the peace of our nation and the security of our country, both inside and beyond our borders, will continue decisively, comprehensively, and without compromise. May God envelop the pure souls of our martyrs with His mercy and grant them a place in paradise.”

Details of the Operation and the Status of the Forces
According to the official statement of the Ministry of Interior, during the coordinated operation of law enforcement forces against the terrorist organization ISIS in Yalova Province, three police officers were martyred and several others were injured.
Security forces reported that six members of the terrorist group were killed in the clashes. In addition, five women and six children present at the scene were rescued. Judicial authorities announced that five suspects have been detained so far and investigations are ongoing.
Following the incident, Turkish officials issued condolence messages and stressed the continuation of the determined fight against terrorism. The Ministry of Interior also declared that security and judicial measures to identify and dismantle related networks will persist.
