Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan sent a message to congratulate President Masoud Pezzekian and the people of Iran on the arrival of Nowruz.
According to the Iranian government’s information website, the message reads: “On the occasion of Nowruz, when nature comes back to life, the soil awakens, and hopes bloom, I express my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Your Excellency and the friendly nation of Iran.”
In this message, Erdogan also noted: “Nowruz, an ancient tradition that has survived for centuries, once again reminds us of the importance of reconciliation, brotherhood and solidarity this year. I sincerely hope that Nowruz will sprout the seeds of hope for world peace and herald a new era in which dialogue and cooperation between nations will find new dimensions. On this Nowruz, I sincerely hope that the deep-rooted friendship and brotherly bond between our countries will be further strengthened and that our cooperation will be further strengthened.”
He wrote: “On the occasion of this auspicious day, I wish Your Excellency good health and happiness, and a future full of reconciliation, pride, and prosperity for the Iranian nation.”
