Iran–Turkey International Trade Exhibition to Be Held in Zanjan
Zanjan – The Director General of Industry, Mine and Trade of Zanjan Province announced that the Iran–Turkey International Trade and Investment Exhibition will be held in February this year at the Caspian International Exhibition Center in Zanjan.
Emirali Mesibi, speaking at the first meeting of the Provincial Exhibition Steering Committee, stated that this event will be organized with the official authorization of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran and aims to showcase the industrial, production, and service capacities of Zanjan Province and the Republic of Turkey.
He added that the exhibition will serve as a dynamic platform to present export capabilities, enhance trade interactions, and strengthen Zanjan’s position in the path of regional and international export development. According to him, in recent years exports from the province to Turkey have been on the rise, and currently more than half of Zanjan’s exports are directed to this country.
The Director General of Industry, Mine and Trade of Zanjan Province emphasized that the exhibition provides a valuable opportunity for direct interaction among producers, exporters, investors, and economic actors, enabling effective and purposeful cooperation and technology exchange between the two countries.
Mesibi also announced the organization of the Business, Research, and Technology Exhibition in December, noting that the event will be held under the supervision of the Industry, Mine and Trade Directorate and the Science and Technology Park, offering managers of provincial production units the chance to become acquainted with the latest research and academic capacities of universities.
Highlighting Zanjan’s strengths in the footwear industry, he reported that planning is underway for a National Specialized Footwear Exhibition, which will also be held in February at the Caspian International Exhibition Center.
The Director General further mentioned that a Household Businesses Exhibition will be held concurrently with this year’s Spring Exhibition, and a Mining and Mineral Industries Exhibition will take place in the first half of next year. Mesibi concluded by noting that, based on current planning, 40 exhibitions covering 85 specialized topics will be organized in Zanjan Province in the coming year.
