Caspian Airlines Plane Returns to Iran After Turkey Lifts Restrictions
According to the public relations department of Caspian Airlines, following continuous legal and administrative follow-ups and negotiations with competent authorities and relevant parties in Turkey, the temporary restriction imposed on one of the company’s Boeing aircraft with registration number EP-KPB was lifted, and the aircraft returned to the country’s air fleet.
On Monday, 6 Mehr 1405, corresponding to September 28, 2026, during the operational schedule of the Istanbul–Tehran flight, due to an administrative issue in Turkey, the operational use of this Boeing aircraft had been temporarily restricted.

Also, continuous negotiations and interactions with competent authorities and relevant parties in Turkey continued with the aim of accelerating the removal of the restriction and the return of the aircraft to the operational cycle.
Finally, with Caspian Airlines’ effective step in protecting the fleet’s assets, the EP-KPB restriction was removed from the aforementioned aircraft, and this aircraft once again returned to the country’s air fleet.
