Strengthening Military Cooperation Between Egypt and Turkey
Turkey’s ASELSAN, one of the leading companies in the defense industry, has inaugurated its representative office in Egypt.
This move aims to expand joint military cooperation between the two countries, providing technical services and support to the Egyptian Armed Forces, while also focusing on the development and production of joint defense systems.
Ahmet Akyol, General Manager of ASELSAN, described this step as a significant milestone marking the beginning of a new chapter in military cooperation between Turkey and Egypt.
It is noteworthy that defense relations between the two countries have been on an upward trajectory since 2023, and the opening of this office is considered a sign of the deepening of these ties.
