Turkey Condemns Israel’s Attack on Hamas Negotiation Team
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, strongly condemned Israel’s attack on the Hamas negotiation team in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
The statement read: “Targeting the Hamas negotiation team while ceasefire talks are ongoing demonstrates that Israel’s aim is not to achieve peace, but to prolong the war.”
Emphasizing its full support for Qatar, Turkey described this act as “a disgraceful attack against the sovereignty and security” of that country, and added: “We once again call on the international community to put pressure on Israel to end its ongoing aggressions in Palestine and the region.”
