Turkish President Extends Eid al-Adha Greetings to Citizens and Nations of the Region
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in a video message on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, congratulated the holiday to all Turkish citizens and Muslims around the world. In his message, he emphasized the importance of unity and solidarity during these blessed days.
In one part of his message, Erdoğan stated: “I congratulate these holy days to the entire Turkish nation and our brothers and sisters around the world. I hope our sacrifices and worship are accepted in the sight of Allah.”
He also touched upon the situation in Palestine, praising the resistance of the people of Gaza against Israeli attacks. The Turkish President honored Palestinian martyrs and wished recovery for the wounded.
In another part of his message, Erdoğan highlighted Türkiye’s efforts to reduce international tensions. He mentioned Ankara’s initiatives to end conflicts in Palestine and Ukraine, stressing the necessity of resolving crises through peaceful means.
Regarding domestic affairs, the President referred to the government’s measures to improve the economic situation and rebuild earthquake-affected regions. He also noted progress in the fight against terrorism, expressing hope that this challenge would soon be fully resolved.
Concluding his message, Erdoğan extended Eid al-Adha greetings to all Muslims worldwide and asked pilgrims to pray for the Islamic Ummah. He also urged citizens to obey traffic rules during their holiday travels.
