Expansion of Iran–Turkey Environmental Cooperation at the Zero Waste Summit
Shina Ansari, Vice President of Iran and Head of the Department of Environment, traveled to Istanbul at the official invitation of the Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change of Turkey to attend the global “Zero Waste Summit.”
The summit is being held with the aim of reviewing innovative solutions for waste management, sharing successful experiences of different countries, and strengthening international cooperation in the field of environment.
The participation of the Iranian delegation in this meeting provides an opportunity to expand environmental interactions and to present Iran’s national measures and achievements in the field of waste management.
