Live Firing Show 2025: Turkey Showcases Defense Capabilities at Military Event
Last week’s Live Firing Show 2025 in Lithuania featured the latest achievements of Turkey’s defense industry. The biennial event, which brings together leading global defense firms, this year highlighted the capabilities of the NMS 4×4 armored vehicle, produced by Nurol Makina.
This light armored vehicle, previously deployed in various operations, was showcased with an upgraded weapon system. The most notable enhancement was the successful integration of a low-recoil 30mm VENOM LR cannon and the Ilgar I loitering munition system.

Reports indicate that this weapon configuration allows the NMS 4×4 to excel in both reconnaissance and offensive missions. The main cannon has an effective range of 2 kilometers, while the loitering munitions can engage targets up to 20 kilometers away.
During the live-fire demonstration, the vehicle accurately engaged pre-set targets, proving its effectiveness against diverse threats. The performance drew significant attention from military officials and experts attending the exhibition.
A Nurol Makina representative emphasized in a press statement that the platform was designed to meet the demands of modern warfare and has demonstrated reliable performance in various operational conditions. The company has previously delivered variants of this vehicle to European countries, including Estonia.

The Live Firing Show is recognized as one of the most important defense exhibitions in the Baltic region, offering a realistic environment to showcase cutting-edge military technology. The successful participation of Turkish defense products marks another step in promoting Turkey’s growing capabilities in the defense industry.
