Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey: We are negotiating with Israel about Syria
Hakan Fidan, the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs, confirmed that Ankara has engaged in direct negotiations with Israel to reduce tensions and prevent further escalation of conflicts in Syria.
Fidan stated in a declaration that these negotiations have been case-by-case and conducted based on necessity.
The confirmation of these negotiations comes after Fidan stated a few days ago that Turkey does not intend to escalate conflicts with the Zionist regime in Syria.
The Zionist regime’s military launched a new wave of major attacks on Syria this week, targeting the T4 airbase near Palmyra, a location where Turkey is interested in deploying its defense systems and aircraft.
