Signing of 7 joint memorandums of understanding between Iran and Azerbaijan
According to the presidency, during Masoud Pezeshkian’s visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan, officials from the two countries signed 7 joint cooperation memorandums in the presence of the presidents of Iran and Azerbaijan.
In addition to the joint travel statement signed by the presidents, memorandums of understanding in the fields of political consultations, transportation, cultural exchanges, health cooperation, media, and investment were signed by relevant officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran arrived at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku on Monday afternoon local time, where he was welcomed by Yaghoub Ayoubov, Deputy Prime Minister, and Samir Sharifov, Deputy Foreign Minister of the country.

Attendance and speech at the joint meeting of economic activists from both countries alongside the President of Azerbaijan, as well as meeting with Iranians residing in the country, are among the other programs of Pezeshkian’s trip to Baku.
It is worth mentioning that Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abbas Aliabadi, Minister of Energy, Sattar Hashemi, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri, Minister of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism, Farzaneh Sadegh Malvajerd, Minister of Roads and Urban Development, and Mehdi Sanaei, Political Advisor to the President, are accompanying Pezeshkian on this trip.
