The Speaker of the Turkish Parliament congratulated Azerbaijan on its Independence Day
Numan Kurtulmuş, Speaker of the Turkish Parliament, extended his congratulations on May 28, the Independence Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and reaffirmed Turkey’s steadfast solidarity with Azerbaijan in all situations.
Referring to the concept of “One Nation, Two States,” Kurtulmuş stated that the fraternal ties between the two countries go beyond political, historical, and cultural commonalities, expressing his wish for these bonds to endure forever.
Kurtulmuş also honored the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan’s independence and wished the people of Azerbaijan a future filled with peace, prosperity, and well-being.
