Turkey Condemns Israel’s Military Intervention in Southern Syria
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement responding to Israel’s military intervention in southern Syria, emphasized: “We condemn Israel’s military intervention in recent developments in southern Syria and stress that Israel’s attacks must cease immediately.”
The statement noted that establishing stability and security in Syria would benefit all neighboring countries and the region, particularly the Syrian people.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry stated: “In this regard, it is necessary to support the steps taken by the Syrian government to ensure security and strengthen its presence across the country.”

Phone Conversation Between Turkish and Syrian Foreign Ministers
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone call with Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad regarding Israel’s attacks on southern Syria and Damascus.
According to sources from the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Fidan described the attacks as concerning during the call.
He stressed that interventions threatening regional security and efforts to stabilize Syria must end immediately.
Fidan also emphasized the importance of all relevant parties working toward peace in Syria.

Fidan Holds Phone Call with Trump’s Special Envoy for Syria
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan spoke by phone with Tom Barak, the U.S. Ambassador to Ankara and Trump’s special envoy for Syria.
According to Turkish Foreign Ministry sources, Fidan reiterated the need to stop Israel’s attacks on Syria and end the clashes in the country’s south.
