Turkey’s Advanced Radar Systems in Damascus Have Restricted Israel’s Air Operational Freedom
Turkey’s advanced radar systems have been deployed at Damascus Airport. According to Israeli officials, this deployment could severely restrict the activities and flights of the Zionist regime’s air force in Syrian airspace.
These radars, installed in recent weeks, place the Zionist regime’s aerial movements under full surveillance coverage. The monitoring capability of these systems even includes tracking the regime’s fighter jets heading toward neighboring countries such as Iraq and Iran.
This move will significantly limit the Zionist regime’s aerial operations in Syrian airspace and disrupt its ability to use Syrian skies for other purposes.
Previously, due to concerns over Turkey’s attempts to establish permanent bases in Syria, the Zionist regime had targeted Syrian air bases. Plans have also been proposed for Turkey to construct two military bases and deploy F-16 fighter jets on Syrian soil.
