Turkish Ship Carrying 900 Tons of Humanitarian Aid Arrives in Arish
The seventeenth Turkish ship carrying humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza has arrived at Egypt’s Port of Arish.
The vessel, named Akdeniz, was dispatched under the initiative of Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) and with the support of 17 non-governmental organizations. Today, after completing the necessary legal procedures, it docked at the Port of Arish.
The ship’s cargo consists of 900 tons of humanitarian supplies, including infant formula, ready-to-eat food, and various canned goods. The unloading process is expected to begin within the coming hours, and the aid is anticipated to be delivered to the Gaza Strip via land routes in cooperation with the Egyptian Red Crescent.
This effort marks the seventeenth mission of Turkish aid ships sent to support the people of Gaza.
