Arab League Ministers Meeting with Fidan
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced on X channel: “Today, we participated in the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Arab League in Cairo and had useful meetings. I would like to thank my colleagues for their hospitality. We emphasize once again that, as Turkey, we attach great importance to our relations with the Arab world and are ready to cooperate at all levels to ensure the stability and security of the region. In order to solve regional problems, we must act together as actors in our geography and continue our sincere cooperation.”
In an environment where the international system has not been able to stop the genocide in Palestine, closing our ranks and acting together is no longer a choice but an obligation. Today’s bloodshed is the result of Israel’s immunity from past attacks. We must fight together to break this cycle. The Islamic world will do its best to protect the Islamic identity of the Holy Haram against Israel’s reckless actions to change the identity of Jerusalem. With this determination, we will continue to pressure the international community to stop these illegal actions by Israel. It should not be forgotten that this struggle with Israel is not only the struggle of Palestine but the struggle of all humanity. The countries of the Arab League and Turkey are trying to define a new level of relations, and in this way, they are following the process of regional stability, especially the cessation of the Gaza war.
