Condolences of Erdogan following the death of several Iranian citizens in the Bandar Abbas explosion
Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of Turkey, following the cabinet meeting at the Presidential Complex in Bestepe, referred to the explosion in Bandar Abbas and said: On behalf of my country and my people, I express my condolences for the loss of our brothers in the Bandar Abbas explosion in Iran.
He also criticized the approach of countries that remain silent in the face of the Gaza crisis, stating: The criticism of those who until yesterday labeled Palestinian resistance as terrorism holds no credibility regarding our government’s policy towards Palestine.
Erdogan stated: It must now be seen that shedding more blood, killing more children, and keeping people in Gaza hungry, thirsty, and without medicine will lead nowhere.
The President of Turkey once again emphasized: Gaza, like East Jerusalem and the West Bank, belongs to the Palestinian people. Our brothers in Gaza, by the will of God, will continue to live forever in the land where they were born.
He further referred to the tension between Pakistan and India, expressing: We wish that the escalating tension between Pakistan and India be reduced as quickly as possible before it leads to more serious dimensions.
