Erdoğan at Cabinet Meeting Addresses Domestic and International Issues
Erdoğan emphasized the importance of national unity, stating that the government is determined to remove obstacles to societal cohesion. He affirmed that Turkey has the capability to address security challenges, including the issue of terrorism, and that this process will continue.
In another part of his speech, the Turkish President highlighted his country’s mediation efforts in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. He expressed hope that he could soon host a meeting between the leaders of Russia and Ukraine to take another step toward peace.

Regarding regional relations, Erdoğan welcomed the recent decision by some European countries to ease sanctions on Syria. He also announced new plans to develop air transport relations between Turkey and Syria, which he said could contribute to greater stability in the region.
At the end of his remarks, the Turkish President touched on the government’s support programs, stating that scheduled payments to retirees and those in need would be made in the coming days. These payments are part of the government’s social policies aimed at supporting various segments of society.
