Israel’s attack on Iran is “barbaric” and a cause of regional instability
According to a report by Anadolu Agency, Erdoğan stated in his speech in Hatay province:
“Israel, with the support of some Western powers, is trying to set the region on fire. We condemn this attack and call for immediate restraint. The Iranian people and government need international support under these difficult circumstances.”
The Turkish President warned that the continuation of such attacks would not only escalate tensions in the Middle East but could also endanger global security.
Erdoğan also emphasized that Turkey is ready to play an active role in mediation and efforts to return to regional diplomacy if requested by the parties. He called for an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council to address this crisis.
