Turkey’s Tea Exports Up 24 Percent in Nine Months
Turkey’s tea exports reached 22,279,294 dollars in the first nine months of this year, with Belgium and the United Kingdom topping the list of destinations.
According to data from the Eastern Black Sea Exporters’ Association, Turkey exported tea to 112 countries and autonomous regions between January and September 2025.
Revenue from Turkey’s tea exports stood at 17,950,365 dollars in the same period last year, rising by 24 percent this year to over 22 million dollars. Export volume also increased from 3,628 tons last year to 4,057 tons, marking a 12 percent growth.
Among target markets, Belgium ranked first with imports worth 7,855,574 dollars, followed by the United Kingdom with 3,654,121 dollars and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus with 1,958,907 dollars.
