57th Anniversary of the Nationalist Movement Party of Turkey
Devlet Bahçeli, the Leader of the Nationalist Movement Party of Turkey, delivered a speech at the party’s 57th anniversary ceremony held at the ATO Congresium. In his speech, he stated: “The Turkish nation, with its Turks and Kurds, will carry its glorious past into the future. This will be achieved even at the cost of our lives.” Devlet Bahçeli thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for sending a floral bouquet on the occasion of this anniversary.
In another part of his remarks, Devlet Bahçeli said: “We are the nationalist-idealist movement, and we have the honor of belonging to the Turkish nation in our noble blood.” He added: “The Nationalist Movement Party and the People’s Alliance are the hope and the architects of Turkey’s and the Turkish nation’s future.” Devlet Bahçeli stated that the ultimate goal is to create a “terrorism-free Turkey,” saying: “The goal of a terrorism-free Turkey will be achieved through the dynamism and resilience of national solidarity.”
The Nationalist Movement Party leader also said: “The Nationalist Movement Party is the only political movement that accepts nationalism as a political governance project.” He concluded his speech by stating: “The political address of the new century is clear. That address is the Nationalist Movement Party.”
President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, had sent a floral bouquet in the shape of the Turkish flag to the party on the occasion of the 57th anniversary of the Nationalist Movement Party’s founding. This bouquet consisted of white roses and carnations, decorated with 57 rose stems in honor of the 57th anniversary.
Cevdet Yılmaz, the Vice President of Turkey, congratulated the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) on its 57th anniversary. Yılmaz stated on his social media account: “As the People’s Alliance, I congratulate the 57th anniversary of the Nationalist Movement Party, with whom we walk together towards the goals of the Turkish Century. I congratulate the entire MHP community, especially the Chairman of the MHP, the wise politician and statesman, Dr. Devlet Bahçeli.”
