Israeli airstrike on Beirut’s Dahiye and the targeting of a residential apartment
News sources reported an airstrike by the Zionist regime on the Dahiye area of Beirut. According to Lebanese sources, Israeli warplanes targeted a residential apartment on Al Arid Street in southern Dahiye, Beirut. The occupying army also claimed that one of Hezbollah’s senior commanders was targeted in the operation.
According to reports, the Israeli army, in a planned attack and contrary to some agreements with the Lebanese government, targeted Haytham Ali Tabatabai, a senior commander of Hezbollah Lebanon. Tabatabai, who has an Iranian father and a Lebanese mother, was known as one of the prominent figures of Lebanon’s resistance.

The attack took place as Israel, violating the ceasefire, once again bombed the Dahiye area in the capital of Lebanon. Avichay Adraee, the Israeli army spokesperson, stated in a post on his social media account X that the Israeli army targeted one of Hezbollah’s leaders in this attack.
The Lebanese official news agency NNA reported that a large number of civilians were injured in these attacks and extensive damage was caused to buildings. Images shared on social media also show thick smoke rising from the targeted building in Beirut’s Dahiye.
